Decadent, sweet, delicious and cute to boot, Twisted Sifter’s cupcakes are something new to become obsessed with.
Danville recently obtained a new cake shop across from Baskin-Robbins, in the space that was formally the Two Roads Café. The name of the majestic shop is Twisted Sifter.
From the instant you walk through the doors you hear the angelic sound of bells, and smell the sweet aroma of baked goods giving you the feeling of being in paradise.
That feeling continues when you are greeted by the kind smiling face of the shop’s owner, Pam Birt. Pam is very confident in her talent with baked goods, and can create magnificent works just out of some eggs, flour and sugar, all with a smile on her face.
There is a wide variety of cupcakes that you can choose from at Twisted Sifter. My favorite by far is blueberry vanilla. The cake is decadent and moist.
The chocolate cupcakes are very rich, so if you plan on just buying one cupcake then this is the cupcake for you. It’s chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.
The appearance and overall taste make Twisted Sifter’s cupcakes a great treat, and that’s why I give them 4 out of 5 anchors.
