With four school weeks left until the senior class finishes final exams, many of them are suffering from the same common ailment: senioritis.
This is a complicated way of saying they're lazy.
Think about it: do any seniors really think work ceases to exist once high school ends?
If they do, they're in for a surprise. In real life, they have to work that's how it is. Everyone would like to go to the beach or sleep in and hangout with friends, but first they have to work. They can't just get all the time off that they want.
Life is hard. Deal with it.
I would rather be outside than be cramped in this classroom typing this article right now, but that's how life works. I still have an entire year of work left ahead of me.
That's exactly what the seniors are doing, throwing away four years of hard work. For what? A few days on the beach? They have all summer, and they already get out much earlier than us.
I get it: They've been doing this long enough, and they are sick and tired of it. However, they have to start caring because college is a lot more difficult than high school there wont be people pushing you to get your work done.
So for these next four weeks just, do what everyone else has done: work, focus, and try to enjoy your last few weeks of high school.
