As September rolls around, those hot days are followed by cool nights as families gather around picnic tables preparing to douse their hands in Old Bay and bond over seafood Maryland style.
    Looking to have a crab feast? Try purchasing a bushel from the family owned Bethesda Crab House which has been serving the area’s freshest crabs since 1961. Patrons  have a choice between steamed hard-shell crabs, Maryland style all-jumbo lump crab cakes and sautéed soft-shell crabs.
    While one is in the city of Baltimore, they have to take a visit to the well known Inner Harbor which has many attractions for families and couples. Some of the most popular attractions are the National Aquarium which houses more than 16,000 creatures in naturalistic exhibits, Cruises on the Bay that can be enjoyed day or night, the Maryland Science Center that features an IMAX Theater and a Planetarium and the historically famous Fort McHenry.
     If one has more of a beach getaway in mind, travel to the west coast of Maryland to Ocean City to enjoy warm breezy beaches and a boardwalk that is 2.5 miles in length. When dinner time comes around there are more than 200 restaurants from which to choose.
