At-a-glance

Persona 3
Advertising

I’ve played many RPGs (Role-playing games) over the past four-five years.  Even as a kid, I’d watch my uncle play Final Fantasy, except back then I wasn’t interested in it at all.  It looked boring to me back then, and now they’re probably the only thing I play.  One game I fell in love with and have been playing over and over for three years now is Persona 3 for the PS2.  It was the first Shin Megami Tensei game I played and since then have devoted my life to it (may or may not be an exaggeration)

The reason I liked it so much was because it mixed the usual role-playing elements with every day school life.  You get to fight monsters at night, level up and get stronger and go to school during the day while attending clubs and meeting people.  The more people you meet the stronger your “Persona” is which is needed during battle.

The storyline is actually very good minus the barely noticeable plot holes.  I recommend this game (and Persona 4) to anyone who likes games like Final Fantasy.
