This newspaper makes good use of online resources, with multiple editions, good use of art and more.
The site is easy to use and navigate for users and staffers. Content is cut and pasted in. No special computer skills are needed.
Your site will have a unique Web address based on your state, city and school name.
You’ll be able to customize its appearance by using your school colors and masthead.In addition to the front page of each issue, there will be areas for news, sports, features, columns and opinions.
Another big benefit: All contents are archived and can be searched.
To sign up for the my.highschooljournalism.org service, a school official (a teacher or an administrator) needs to completely fill out the registration form and mail it along with an official school check for $50 (please do not send purchase orders – we will return them). Once you pay the registration fee, there are no other charges – the service is free.
And we will send you publications to help build your journalism library: The Associated Press Stylebook, the Principal's Guide to Scholastic Journalism and a guide to scholastic press law.

We supply the Web space and software. You supply the content – stories, art and talent. We only ask that you update your site at least once a month during the academic year and keep us up-to-date about the status of your newspaper, the adviser and contact information. (As a non-profit organization, we will not sell this information.)

Your newspaper's work will be eligible for our National Edition, a weekly effort to highlight some of the most interesting and relevent work done by teen journalists.
