Airport security pat down is blown out of proportion

Thursday, March 31, 2011 By Nathan Swink

In airports people are being pat down and are claiming to be groped during the process. It is dumb that people are paranoid about being pat down for refusing to do a safe thing. The people at the airport are claiming that the security officers have no right to check them for bombs when they will not go through a scanner that does the same thing. Not only are people exaggerating about being pat down, they also think that a machine that millions of people walk through daily is emitting a dangerous amount of radiation. The radiation that is emitted is so little that doctors, the people that know how much radiation is needed to harm people, are going through the machines without any fears at all. These gossip stories about airport security guards groping unsuspecting people who refuse to do a harmless task are false. People need to realize that if a person is paranoid about a little bit of radiation from a harmless machine will probably take a pat down the wrong way.
