The Cougars swam their way through to the finals. Some individuals went to the regional competition and placed fairly well. The women came out on top, though, making it to the state competition.

MATCH: February 3, 3A Regional in Goldsboro, NC

RESULTS:

In the 200-meter women’s medley relay, Catharine Moore, Molly Stanfield, Cori Huffines, and Katie Ormond placed fourteenth in the region.

In the women’s 200-meter freestyle, Catharine Moore placed sixth in the region.

In the women’s 100-meter butterfly, Cori Huffines placed eighteenth in the region.

In the women’s 100-meter freestyle, Cori Huffines placed ninth in the region.

In the women’s 500-meter freestyle, Catharine Moore placed eighth in the region.

In the women’s 100-meter breaststroke, Molly Stanfield came in 28th in the region.

In the women’s 400-meter freestyle relay, Catharine Moore, Molly Stanfield, Cori Huffines, and Katie Ormond placed sixth in the region.

In the men’s 200-meter medley relay, Brett Paschal, Chris Espinoza, Matt Marshall, and Timmy Herndon finished twenty-first in the region.

In the men’s 100-meter backstroke, Brett Paschal placed fifteenth in the region.

In the men’s 100-meter breaststroke, Daniel Tolodziecki placed twenty-third in the region.

In the men’s 400-meter freestyle relay, James Perry, Will Garrison, Timmy Herndon, and Brett Paschal placed in twenty-eighth in the region.

RESULTS:

In the women’s 200-meter freestyle Catharine Moore placed seventeenth.

In the women’s 500-meter freestyle Catharine Moore placed nineteenth.

In the women’s 100-meter freestyle Cori Huffines placed nineteenth.

In the women’s 400-meter freestyle relay Cori Huffines, Catharine Moore, Molly Stanfield and Katie Ormond placed seventeenth.
