When I look back on my life in high school, I can’t help but think how fast it all went by. From the days of being a freshman, to days of being a senior, I savor it all—still tasting every ounce of sweat invested into making my high school existence the best. From the seemingly never ending loads of homework, to the excessive and innumerable amounts of physical and mental exertion—here I stand today, at the top of a mountain that I’ve begun to climb since grade nine.

Even though they’ve often put me through hell, I have to thank each of my teachers (especially Mr. Ackerman—I love you man) for pushing me to the maximum, for testing my limits to that which I never knew I could reach. Every relationship that I made, whether it was with a guy in the lunch line, or the girl at Homecoming, I have to say “thank you.”

Thank you for being my lunch line friend, my Homecoming companion, and all of my buddies. It’s people like you that give meaning to life. Ok, ok, maybe I’m exaggerating a lil’ bit, but on a more serious note, thanks to all my friends for making school an experience I’ll never forget.

High school for me has been a bitter-sweet experience. In one sense my classmates and I are moving onto bigger and better things, but on the other hand, it’s sad to leave behind relationships that have been formed over a long and memorable 4 years.

I can only wish the entire senior class the best. I really look forward to seeing all of you at the ten year reunion with success written all over you. For the fellas, I hope to see you rollin up in Escalades and Bentleys, with Jacob watches flossing and those keys to the big houses. For the ladies, I hope to see you with the Gucci and Fendi purses, riding in the Jags and Rovers, and most importantly—walking with a man who will stay true to you. When all is said and done, I really hope that all of you will be happy and successful and live the life you’ve always dreamed of.

So I toast to the Senior Class of 2004. Thank you for all the great memories.
