The leadership class will be hosting a Spring Dance on Saturday, April 30th in the West Gym. This year’s theme is "Backyard Boogie", which means dress casual and comfortable. The dance will last from 8 p.m. until midnight so be ready to boogie.

D.J. Café con Leche is going to be the D.J. for the spring dance; they were the D.J. for the Sock Hop dance and for Winter Formal. They will be playing a variety of music.

"Two weeks before the dance there will be a sign posted up in the Main Building where students can write the artist’s name and song they desire to hear at the dance and this play list will be given to the D.J.," said student Veronica Cruz, the chairperson of this dance.

Tickets are going to be selling at the students store starting April 18, for $10, and $7 for those who have an activity card. "Students who are from Renaissance could use their coupon for this dance," said leadership advisor Ms. Sophie Sabbah. Only 400 tickets will be sold. On April 27, ticket will be going up in price.
