Sophomore Terry Rydz recites his poem, “Jiba Jaba,” at Poetry Night, where students read original poetry before an audience. The event, organized by the creative writing club, is held every third Friday of the month at Barnes and Noble at 18711 NE Biscayne Blvd.

At the first Poetry Night of this year, held in September, 50 student poets recited original work before a crowd of over 70 people, including other Krop students and customers.

The next Poetry Night will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18. Signs ups are held shortly before the recitations begin. -
