Since 1994, the Senior Luncheon has been a tradition at Teague High School. The graduating class gathers the day before graduation to spend one last group engagement together. This year’s event is happening at 8^th Avenue Baptist church at 11:30 a.m. for the Senior class.

One strange thing that happens at this lunch is that the class does not sit with their friends. Instead, they sit with their birthdays. In other words, everyone with October birthdays sit at a table together. The tables are also themed for each month, for instance the aforementioned has a Halloween theme.

Spaghetti with salad and a dessert make the meal, allowing the class to spend one last day together besides graduation or Operation Graduation. The final touch to the whole ordeal is a guest speaker to talk to the graduating high school students before they leave the event.
