Teague High School

At-a-glance

Every day a student somewhere dies as a result of destructive decisions. SADD is an organization that tries to avoid these incidents; it stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions. SADD originally started in Wayland Massachusetts. The SADD chapter was brought to Teague about four years ago by a student named Chandler Baggerly, who has now graduated. Even though Mr. Baggerly has graduated, his legacy for SADD lives on.Since the 2006 and 2007 school year, Teague High School has encountered many tragedies. Most of these are the result of destructive decisions which is the reason SADD got started. This is an organization that is geared towards helping teens make more wise and healthy decisions. This organization also teaches teens how to cope and deal with their losses when bad things occur. If this sounds like an exciting organization to join, then stop by. SADD meets during lunch the second Wednesday of every month in Mrs. Baggerly’s room. The next SADD meeting will be on October 14th.
