SADD has gotten off to a great start here at Teague High School. There have been two meetings so far, with around 35 members attending. These members are currently working on many different projects, including a skit to be performed at the Elementary School. They are also working on getting a Vietnam War veteran to come and speak to the school about destructive decisions later on in the year.

If you did not know, SADD sponsored the assembly held in the auditorium Tuesday, February 6, during which trustees from a prison came and told the school how destructive decisions led to crime and destructive behavior.

Although many students have already declared their intent to help Teague's SADD program reach as many people as it can, more people are needed. Being the first chapter of SADD in the state, we want to show everyone how hard we will work to spread awareness about destructive decisions. Please join SADD today! Just remember, it is never to late to help others.
