1. iPad by apple was designed  as a device smaller than a netbook with all the capabilities of a laptop. According to apple.com the iPad features a 64 GB hard drive with safari, video, youtube, music, maps, ibooks, and over 140,000 apps that can be downloaded from the App store. The iPad costs $500. Students at the school rated the iPad as the best of these five for its features. "[It] has the same capabilities of a Desktop PC and [its] small," senior Gary Kassee said.

2. Droid ERIS by HTC is a multimedia phone that, according to Verizon wireless.com, features music, blog, youtube, facebook, twitter, a 5 megapixel camera, and over 10,000 apps. The cost of the Droid ERIS ranges from $199.99 to $599.99. "[This] new technology allows us to keep connected to more social networks [with] its fast internet [and] great service," said junior Alexis Domench.

3. PSP Go by Sony is the next generation PSP that, according to sonystyle.com, allows you to download digital gaming, bluetooth, movies, and TV shows into its slim 16 GB hard drive. However, the PSP Go does not play UMD PSP and the battery is not user replaceable. The cost of the PSP Go is $250. "[It has] better internet speed [and] more memory," Emilio Gonzalez junior said.
