Gifts are the hardest things to find over the holidays. People like receiving the latest things out; this includes electronics, movies, and CDs. This holiday season there are a lot of very cool things coming out. There is the new X-BOX 360. Its price alone is about $300, but can vary depending on the package. With games such as “Madden 2006,” “Final Fantasy XI,” “King Kong,” “Call of Duty,” and “Condemned,” X-BOX 360 is sure to sell. It has high definition, amazing graphics, wireless capability, and it also plays DVDs.
Coming out in spring 2006 is the Playstation 3. Although it comes out after the holiday season, this could still be a cool gift to give any time of the year. The Playstation 3 has 53 GB capacity. It also has very good graphics. It is also wireless capable. These are the two latest gaming systems released.
Also, released earlier this year was the Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable). The PSP has the same quality as the PS2. It has memory stick integration and built-in speakers. It’s the perfect on-the-go entertainment for people of all ages.
Another good gift for this holiday is an iPod. iPods are one the most popular electronics out on the market. When the iPod first came out, it only played music. Some of these iPods can hold from two hundred to one thousand, and up to fifteen thousand or more songs.
The newest iPod out is the new iPod, that holds upto fifteen thousand songs, and upto twenty-five photos. It also has a capacity of one hundred fifty hours worth of video play time. It comes in 30 GB or 60 GB. The iPod Shuffle and the iPod Nano are also two of the more popular music players out there. The iPod Shuffle holds upto two hundred forty songs. It’s small and easy to use. Also, one of the newer iPods is the Nano. The iPod Nano can hold from five hundred to one thousand songs. It’s like a regular iPod, just thinner, and smaller. It also has the capability to store photos.
Prices for these iPods can vary depending on the model, the capacity of the iPod, and where you buy it, but they are worth the money you’ll pay.
The new Motorola V3 Razr has become very popular. The first one that came out was the original Motorola V3 Razr in silver, and then came the black one. Both include camera, video, Bluetooth, email, text messaging, instant messaging, speakerphone and many more features.
Also, the sleek, thin design of the Razr is one of the reasons that this cell phone has become so popular. Cell phone companies such as Cingular and T-mobile already carry the Razr. Verizon and Sprint will be coming out with the cell phone soon. Digital Cameras are also a good gift.
This year has had its good movies, and now they’re out on DVD. Movies such as “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” (featuring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt), “Sky High” (featuring Kurt Russell and Kelley Preston), “Dukes of Hazzard” (featuring Johnny Knoxville and Jessica Simpson), “Fantastic 4” (featuring Jessica Alba and Julian McMahon), “The 40 Year-Old Virgin”, (featuring Steve Carell) and “War of the Worlds” (featuring Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning) are just some out of the many that have recently come out on DVD.
CDs are also good gifts for the holidays. A few new CDs out are Shakira’s ”Oral Fixation Vol. 2”, the second part of her recent CD “Fijacion Oral Vol. 1.” Eminem has also released “Curtain Call-The Hits”, a CD with his greatest hits, such as “Stan,” “My Name Is,” and “Lose Yourself.” Artists such as 50 Cent, Coldplay, Audioslave, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Green Day, Kanye West and many more have also released a CD this year, and these CDs would make the perfect gift this holiday.
