ATTENTION ALL CLUBS, ACTIVITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS: Buy a ceiling tile from student council for $10 and decorate it for display in the lunchroom. See Janie in the Activities office.

Student Council meetings are scheduled for every Tuesday from 11:15 to 11:45 in room 153. ALL student council members must attend. Bring your lunch!

Outdoor Track starts March 10th at 3:25 p.m. Please meet outside the weight room ready for practice. Physical and emergency cards need to be on file. See Coach Bradfield for any further questions.

April 21-26 is AIDS Awareness Week, with the 26th being the day of the AIDS Walk. The committee for the Wyoming AIDS walk is bringing in people living with AIDS to speak on a panel in the Union on the UW campus. JUNIORS: In order to qualify for many scholarships next year, you must have taken either an ACT or SAT college entrance exam by September 1, 2003. Packets are available in the Counseling Office.

ATTENTION LHS JUNIOR BOYS AND GIRLS. The American Legion Boys’ State/Girls’ State applications are now available in the LHS Counseling Office. Please pick up your application packets now, as the deadline was February 14th for girls and is March 7th for boys. If you have any questions, please call Pat or Linda Flynn at 742-0301. Funding is provided for all selected candidates. Girls’ State is May 31st to June 7th; Boys’ State is June 7th to June 13th.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: The UW Office of Multicultural Affairs offers a "Summer Research Apprentice Program" for first generation college-bound students. Preference will be given to ethnic and racial minority high school students. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Deadline is April 1st.

Minority students: we have a minority scholarship and other opportunities book available for you in the Counseling Office. Come get one today.

Are you struggling to pass your math, English or other classes? LCCC/Albany County Campus offers tutoring in all subject areas. Location is the Civic Center, times are Monday through Thursday, 3-9 p.m., fee is $20 one-time fee (if you are unable to pay, there are scholarships available). Call 721-5138 or come to the Counseling Office for further details.

Math tutoring is available during SEB. Please stop by the Counseling Office and we’ll arrange for a math tutor to come in during SEB to assist you with your math (all math but Geometry). Please give us two days to make arrangements.

Amnesty International, non-political human rights group, meets, Tuesdays during lunch in room 253. Sponsor is Ms. Elder. Please join us and make a difference.

FCCLA meets Tuesdays at lunch in room 157. All students who have, are in, or will be in Family and Consumer Science courses are welcome to join us. Please bring your lunch and join us at 11:15.

Art Club meets on Wednesdays at lunch. Everyone is welcome; a creative spirit is all that is required.

Art Club hosts an Open Studio night, every Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in rooms 208 and 212. Open Studio is for all Laramie High School students and their families. The price is $2 per person per night to help supplement the cost of materials. See you there!

Drama Club meets every Thursday in the auditorium from 3:15 to 4:00. It’s never too late to join, so come have fun!

Book covers are available in the main office for anyone who needs them.

FCA meets in the small gym every Wednesday at lunch. Everyone is welcome and bring your own lunch.

International Club meets each Monday during lunch in room 119. Open to all students, especially foreign language students.
