Jamila and Jazmyn Carroll are cross sountry siblings who attend Spanaway Lake High School. Jamila is a senior and Jazmyn is a sophmore.
Jamila always helps her sister and pushes her to the best of her ability. Jazmyn does the same. They both look after each other in a competitive way to see who is better and how to better each other at their weaknesses.
The sisters have great personalities, characteristics and relationship with each other. Outside of school, the two consider themselves to be the best of friends; almost inseperable.
“It does not matter where my sister and I go in life, or what we do, we will always be there to support each other.” stated Jazmyn.
Their coach, Missy Widmann said “Jazmyn and Jamila have a positive sibling relationship. They have excellent motivation towards each other, and have healthy competition.”
The girls compete with each other in a way that promotes good sportsmanship.
Widmann also states that “the Carroll sister both have quiet leadership.”
Widmann believes that Jamila has improved herself as an athlete this year. “Even when she was hurt, she maintained her spot by helping out the team.”
All in all, the Carroll sisters are not just cross country competitors but a big help to each other’s motivation.

Victoria and Jason Albright are cross country siblings that attend Spanaway Lake High School. Victoria is 16 years of age while her brother Jason is 17. Even though they live together and attend the same school, they are almost the total opposite.
Victoria is an energetic, busy junior. She does Jazz band and solo ensemble at Spanaway, when she is not tied up with cross country. As for Jason he is more, of a layed back senior. Jason’s days consist of banging on the computer keyboard after everything is done for the day.
Like normal siblings they do fight. Most of the time they do not always agree. Jason and Victoria are closer then just during cross country season.
Jason is the commander of Victoria’s onentee. Victoria says “he deserves every bit of it, he is the absolute best.”
“Me and Jason, on a scale from one to ten, ten being the highest and one being the lowest we’re a 7 when it comes to being close,” said Victoria.
Jason stated on the same scale his sister and him would be an 8. Meaning they are somewhere inbetween really close and basic closeness in the brother-sister relationship.
All in all, Victoria and Jason are not just cross country star siblings, but really two people that support the other one-hundred percent no matter what is being done.
