"The Blind Side" has had different reviews from a variety of people. Some say it’s a beautiful movie, and others say they’ve seen it all before. I say the "Blind Side" is an inspirational movie, but I didn’t think that at first. My idea of the movie changed once I saw it.

"The Blind Side" is a drama about the remarkable true story of Michael Oher, a homeless young African American man from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family that help him and lead him to his full potential.

As Oher stays in the Touhys house they begin to discover things about his past. They find out Oher’s estranged father passed away, and that his mother is addicted to drugs. Now that Oher lives in a new environment he must learn how to face new obstacles.

As a football player and student, Oher works harder than he ever has in his life, and with the help of his friends and adoptive family he becomes one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

I absolutely loved this film, especially the actors like Kathy Bates, Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock. I especially love Bullock’s performance as Mrs. Touhy; she made her scenes realistic and believable throughout the film. Quinton Aaron, who plays Michael Oher, did an excellent performance as well. Aaron basically started his acting career this year with "The Blind Side." I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more of Aaron on the silver screen. The connection he shared with Jae Head, who plays the son as S.J. Touhy, was truly heartwarming.

This film leaves the audience believing that a dream is not accomplished unless you have someone believing in you.

The "Blind Side" is more than just a good piece of well-acted, inspiring entertainment; it’s one of the best films of the year. I give it four out of five anchors.
