Junior year at high school can be one of the toughest of your life. Pay heed sophomores: this dreaded time is just around the corner.

The ACT, SAT, researching colleges and finding scholarships for said colleges can help get you set on the right track for your future.

To prepare the sophomore class for what’s coming next, the juniors and counselor Joel Fredrick give advice and share their experiences.

“Know the year will be challenging,” Fredrick said. “Be prepared.” Fredrick also emphasized the need to set goals and get motivated for junior year.

“Academically, [junior year was] more difficult, but socially much better,” junior Sarah Robinson said.

Junior year can often times be wrought with academic hardship and stress.

Some people go as far as saying that junior year is your hardest in high school.

“I think those people are lame,” junior Alex Clayton. “Junior year is a breeze.”
