One campaign stop just wasn't good enough for President Bush Sept. 4. He made three, reaching over 25,000 Ohioans.

His first stop was at Brecksville High School, where the gym was so crowded the overflow watched Bush speak on closed-circuit TV in another room. Over 20,000 people waited in the rain to see Bush at Lake Farmpark, Kirtland and Cleveland. At all three stops Bush talked about his domestic plan, starting with education.

"Every child can learn and every school must teach," Bush said. "We're raising standards. We're making progress. The achievement gap is closing, and we're not turning back."

Not turning back was the general theme of Bush's agenda.

"I believe we have a moral responsibility to honor our seniors with good health care," he said. "That's why I brought Republicans and Democrats together. Seniors now get immediate help buying medicine. Soon, every senior will be able to get prescription drug coverage, and we're not turning back."

Bush continued this theme on unemployment. He explained that he has improved unemployment rates and will continue to do so.

"We've added 1.7 million new jobs this year. The national unemployment rate is 5.4 percent. That is a full point below last summer. I understand there's people looking for work and can't find a job," Bush said.

Bush's speech covered the war on terrorism. He explained his plan for Iraq.

"Our mission in those countries is clear," he said. "We'll help new leaders train their army so they can do the hard work of defending themselves against a few who want to deny the hopes of the many."

The crowd loved Bush's speech and chanted, "Four more years!" and "USA!"

Hoban English teacher Casey Yandek attended the rally at Brecksville.

"Bush has spoken better recently than I have ever heard him speak before," Yandek said. "He knows how to play the crowd."

Bush threw his fair share of punches at his opponent.

"Only four senators voted to authorize the use of force, then voted against funding our troops. Two were my opponent and his running mate," Bush said.

He also accused Kerry of not being able to fund the federal programs the senator is proposing.
