A standard paintballing game is frequently structured by having two teams racing against each other to reach a certain area on a playing field, normally towards the center of the field or the base of where the opposing team starts without getting hit by a paintball from the opposite side.
If one’s body or paintball gun is marked with any paint from being shot, that person would be considered out and would have to wait for the next round before resuming play.
Through more competitive gaming in paintball or in a smaller group, a round would be set up as a last man standing on the playing field.
All games are referred to insure player safety and fair play.
Games are set up in a either a wide playing area with bunkers and other blocking facilities throughout the playing field or on woods course for larger game play and less experience.
Competitive gaming is normally set up on a smaller field with inflated bunkers made of tarp in a faster pace known as “speedball.”
The paint balling phenomenon has become something that many people take back home with themselves through both a sense of fashion and skill. Many who play on a regular basis or are very much involved in the sport wear full outfits of a certain color normally designed by a major paint balling company to try and be as intimidating as possible on the playing field.
Different parts and equipment have also become a huge part of gaming in paint balling.
Newer paintball guns have been created with two-finger [double trigger] shooting where some guns can be shot at 30 bps (balls per second) at somewhere around 300 fps (feet per second).
“The game [paint balling] is great to show off my masculinity while playing with guns,” said Dallas Albritton, a sophomore who goes on occasion to experience the game’s heart-pounding action.
