It has been thirty years since Mrs. Kathy Repinski began her teaching career at Roosevelt High School, and at the end of this school year, she will be retiring. Mrs. Repinski has been a prominent faculty member of the Special Education department for three decades. As she prepares to move on into a more relaxed setting, she will take with her years of experience and many memories.

The Colonel: How many years have you been teaching?
Kathy Repinski: I have been a teacher for 30 years.

TC: How many years have you been teaching at RHS specifically?
KR: 30 years.

TC: What is your personal philosophy when it comes to teaching?
KR: I really want to have fun with the kids. I want to help the kids be the very best they can be.

TC: What do you love more, the teaching or the students themselves?
KR: The students themselves, without a doubt.

TC: What do you plan to focus on now that you’re retiring?
KR: Many things. I would really like to spend more time with my grandchildren. I would also like to do some volunteer work.
