Jordan Bedell

The Colonel: How have you changed in the past four years?
Jordan Bedell: Freshman year everyone is trying to discover who they are and what they want to become. I myself was one of them. Over the four years I have gone through unfortunate circumstances, but looking back on it I wouldn’t change it. It has made me into that fun, lovable kid that that I am today.

TC: What will you take with you from Roosevelt?
JB: The love and support the teachers gave me when it seemed as though the ground was crumbling beneath my feet, and don’t forget patience!

TC: Which teachers have taught you the most?
JB: Mr. Slattery and Mr. Jurging for the mentoring in the past two years. Mr. Hibbs has shown me that even the pencil that I am writing with is a blessing and many other countries are not as fortunate as we are. Mrs. Ferrell and Mrs. Donaldson for teaching me responsibility in life, thank you so much. Mr. Bowman, I just love him, ha just a shout out!

TC: What advice do you leave for underclassmen?
JB: Establish your GPA your freshman and sophomore year. I cannot express to you how important it is and also, don’t be afraid to wear what you want or the music you want to listen to. Real friends will accept you for who you are!

TC: What’s your favorite high school memory?
JB: I’m not sure if I’m allowed to write this but going trespassing with friends and just hanging in general are my favorite memories!

TC: What are you looking forward to the most following high school?
JB: Germany! A couple lacrosse boys and I are going to go visit Max Kouolwsky who played with us last year.

TC: What’s the most relevant lesson Roosevelt has taught you?
JB: Nothing is ever given to you in life for you just to throw it away, make something out of it.

TC: How do you want to be remembered at RHS?
JB: The kid who makes people smile… and or that kid with the Hi-top.
