Newspaper is now online!

In order to access the Newspaper,

visit the Harlingen High School

web page, click on the “Clubs”

link, then click on “The Cardinal

Online Newspaper” icon.

The Online Newspaper will

contain all of the stories and

pictures you would normally

see in ”The Cardinal,” with the

convenience of being a few clicks

away.

“The online edition of the paper

will allow students to view past

issues that normally would be in

the trash by now,” Editor-In-Chief

Megann Vallely, 12, said.

Students, as well as the entire

community, will be able to access

past news, sports, feature, opinion,

and entertainment stories at

anytime.

“Being online will definitely

increase our readership, and it

will better inform the community

about what is going on around

the campus,” Newspaper Adviser

Norma Fitzgerald said.

In addition to “The Cardinal”,

“The Cardinal Weekly Extra” will

also be available online.

Access to the weekly publication

will allow students to view the

calendar of scheduled student

events, as well as timely news and

feature stories written by “The

Cardinal” newspaper staff.

“This new technological addition

to our newspaper will benefit the

entire student body,” Megann said.
