The FFA attended a stock

show in San Antonio Friday,

February 10. Patric Oxford was

a representative for Harlingen

High School.

“Patric Oxford placed third in

class,” Mrs. Stevens said. “He

showed a red brangus heifer, in

other words a female cow that

hasn’t had a baby.”

According to Mrs. Stevens, the

stock show was fairly long, the

weather was cold, some animals

escaped (but not ours), and

the judge had a difficult time

making a decision. He said he

liked Patric’s animal but she was

too heavy for the division.

FFA students also attended a

stock show in January.

“In the Los Fresnos Stock

Show I placed second, and

fourth,” Patric Oxford,11, said.
