Five Guys Restaurant has two new locations in the community, one which opened March 23 in Aspen Hill, and another opens soon off of Tech Road in Silver Spring.

Known for its delicious burgers, Five Guys is attracting people of all ages like bees to honey. “I love the way the burgers taste, they are so good and I love how you can choose from such a wide variety of condiments,” says junior Kayla Williams. If you do not have time to sit down and enjoy the scrumptious cuisine, never fear, Five Guys does carry out.

Five Guys features a laid back atmosphere where you can munch on peanuts while you watch your burger cooked to order with all fresh ingredients. Adds junior Alisa La, “It is cool how you can eat peanuts while you wait for your number to be called.”

The menu at Five Guys includes little hamburgers and cheeseburgers which consist of one patty, and regular hamburgers and cheeseburgers that have two patties. Also on the menu are hot dogs, French fries, and a huge range of condiments for the burgers that will satisfy anyone who may walk in the door.

Five Guys not only offers a scrumptious meal but it is also provides a great employment opportunity for students. “I applied because it was close to my house and I love the food there,” says junior Danielle Hirrlinger, who has been working at the Five Guys in Aspen Hill since it opened three weeks ago. Adds Hirrlinger, “Most people who come in are really nice and everyone I work with is really cool.”
