At-a-glance

Teacher Jessica Ledington entertains the students by singing “Stop in the Name of Love” by the Supremes in the 2011 talent show. - Torri Osborne

Nothing beats getting out of class for a school assembly such as the talent show. Towards the end of every year the students put on a showcase of their talent.

Every year the majority of the performances consist of singing, guitar playing, and piano playing. Rarely is there ever any role playing, such as skits. You have your hosts who consistently try to keep you laughing.

In my opinion, and I’m pretty sure everyone else's too, the surprise performance by Mrs. Pendergraft, Mrs. Ledington, Mrs. Bishop, and Mrs. Hamlin left everyone’s eyes wide open and jaws completely dropped.

It was an enjoyable afternoon of student talent acts, just a predictable one since they all pretty much did the same thing.
