Carlisle hockey players believe they have a fighting chance against Middletown and a solid chance of winning several of their last games.
"They're a good team, but i really think we can skate with them," said senior center captain Joey Brown. Brown also mentioned that if they bring everything that they have to the game, that there is a very good chance that they can come out with a win. The captain believes that the only thing that i holding the team back is the lack of man power.
"I honestly think we could win every game for the rest of the season; our team is small, but all of our players are very talented," said junior goalie Garrett Orr.
"It is hard to skate against an 18 man team with only eight guys," said Brown. Most people would agree with Brown that in any sport, numbers is a big advantage.
"It will be a real back and forth game, and hopefully we will come out with a win,"said sophmore left-wing Sam Buran.
Carlisle is currently tied for last with West Perry. The next game Carlisle plays is against West Perry to decide who is last seed in the Tier 3 division. Middletown is ranked third in the Tier 3 division. Carlisle hockey will play Middletown at Twin Ponds East, in Harrisburg, on a yet-to-be determined date.
