Last Thursday, the S&S One Act took a trip down to Denton to try on costumes they would be wearing during their play. The name of the shop they went to was called Roses and their costume selection was gigantic! The Skupins were both looking for costumes that would represent the Victorian lifestyle in the past. The kids were quite excited.

Nolan Beilstein, and Cade Keeton, two male juniors at S&S, went there to try on Victorian women costumes. Both of them play very rich women in the play they will be doing. Their costumes were extravagant, and all of the other kids absolutely loved them.

Nathan Harmon and Will Murray got suits with crazy hats. Lindsey Johnson, playing the daughter who is evil and good got a blue kids dress. Rebecca Roberts and Morgan Kennedy got maid outfits, and Ashley Croft and Callie Vincent got dresses that young women would wear during that time period.Roses staff was good with the kids, and got them dressed and fitted in no time at all. It took them less than an hour to get every kid done, and that was a good impression on everyone.

When everyone got done, they gave the workers their costumes and they calculated the prices. Afterwards, the kids all went to McDonalds to finish off a great day!
