This winter, the FCCLA club has helped the local area by donating their time to wrap gifts at the Montgomery Mall and helping out with Toys for Tots at the Red Hill Fire company.
Toys for Tots, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps, welcomed FCCLA’s help to set up, clean up, and take the kids to do their “shopping” around the Fire Company.
In February, the club will have its soup sale fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma society.
There will also be a collection during lunch in March for this charity.
Other upcoming plans include a cell phone collection which will benefit the Battered Women Shelter and a plastic cap collection that will be turned into extra minutes of dialysis for those in need.
