Fear is a distressing negative sensation induced by a perceived threat.
According to Wikipedia, “According to surveys, some of the most common fears are of ghosts (Phasmophobia), the existence of evil powers, cockroaches (Katsaridaphobia), spiders (Arachnophobia), snakes (Ophidiophobia), heights (Acrophobia), water (Aquaphobia), enclosed spaces (Claustrophobia), bridges (Gephyrophobia), needles (Aichmophobia), failure (Atychiphobia), examinations and public speaking (Glossophobia).” Maybe you have a fear; maybe you don’t but remember, like FDR once said, “The only thing you have to fear is fear itself.” And the famous quote from Yoda, “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”
