The band Black Veil Brides opened the five hour concert at about 6:30 on December 6th. They had started their portion of the show with their song New Religion. Right as they started playing, everyone pushed as far forward to the stage as possible. They also sang Youth & Whiskey, Rebel Yell, God Bless You, and the Legacy. They are very well known for their distinct appearance, mainly being inspired by the famous band Kiss. This Post-hardcore heavy metal  band was formed by Andy Sixx, Ashley Purdy, Jake Pitts, and Christian "CC" Coma  that formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio In 2011, it has surprised some people that they have won three awards involving: Revolver Magazine's 100 Greatest Living Rock Stars, 20 Best Albums of 2011, and also Best New Band 2011. They closed with Fallen Angels which was insane.

After a smashing performance from B.V.B next to take the stage was the British band Asking Alexandria. Taking the stage with an ironic opening song Welcome. Not everyone was a huge fan of them, but there sure were a lot of mosh pits and the ever famous Wall Of The Death during Not the American Average, resulting with quite a few injured people. They end up usually doing it at every concert they have. “seeing Asking Alexandria the second time around, makes the first time even better.” explains Alexandria Bourgo. The current line-up of the group consists of Ben Bruce (lead guitar), Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (rhythm guitar), Sam Bettley (bass guitar) and James Cassells (drums). Ben Bruce had been the founder of Asking Alexandria in 2008 in York, North Yorkshire. They came to the United States to promote their music through shows, as well as to prepare for recording. They  recorded after a few months of being in the U.S in 2009 in Indiana. In 2011 alone, they’ve had eleven singles released. Lead singer Danny Worsnop said that they’ve been influenced by 80s rock music. They got their name while they were having a conversation about how to come up with it. The band had a difficulty coming up with a name. The lead singer has a cousin named Alexandria, when the drummer said "Hey, Lets try asking Alexandria for a name." Then the lead singer stopped him, told him to repeat the sentence, and like the sound of Asking Alexandria, and boom. He meant to ask her, but he meant to literally ask her. Ben says, “Well, I really liked the idea of giving the band a person’s name, and Alexandria flowed nicely off the tongue.  Also, it’s a female name and it’s not too aggressive, and the word “Asking” just seemed to fit well in-front of it.

Hollywood Undead was another well known band that played at the concert, I know from talking to people there, they went to this concert and not the concert in Madison on the second because Hollywood Undead wasn’t going to be at that show. As expected they opened with Undead. They also sang Tendencies, Been to Hell, Sell Your Soul, City, Mother Murder, My Town, Young, Everywhere I Go, and Hear Me Now. They dedicated their song Comin' in Hot to the Packers which everyone loved. Originally the band used to make fun of  “emo” kids that were really pale and had dark hair, thought they were cool. They’d call them Undead, so when they got the band together they were going to call it Undead and their first song was Hollywood; The name just stuck with them after that. Hollywood Undead's music features a wide variety of musical styles, blending hip hop with alternative rock and dance influence. Most known for their music being ‘rock rap’ and most songs being party-based. Many critics have stated to be confused due to the record's constant representation of different sounds. In 2011 they won 5th in the AOL Radio: Top 10 Rock Songs of 2011 for Been to Hell. Currently for the band, they are writing and recording demos, release dates should be announced approximately around November of 2012. Hollywood Undead had closed with Hear Me Now leading up to the finale and main attraction of the night.

“They opened up with a blazing hot performance!” quotes Dustin VanEnkenvort. We mean it literally. For some of Avenged Sevenfold’s fans, they could be so close to the stage you could feel the heat of the 15 - 20 feet tall flames coming off the stage and as well as the ‘Death bat’ their signature icon. A7x (Avenged Sevenfold) opened with their top song right now - Nightmare; making the entrance dramatic by dropping the 100 ft tall curtain from the top of the stage with the bursts of flames in time with the beat of the song. Most people who listen to A7x wouldn’t be aware that the Original members  M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Rev and Matt Wendt were still attending high school in Huntington Beach, CA, when they formed their band in 1999. The name comes from the story of Cain and Abel from The Bible, which can be found in Genesis 4:24, although they are not a religious band. Even though it took a while, in 2002, the band started to receive recognition, performing with bands such as Mushroomhead and Shadows Fall. Avenged Sevenfold has multiple influences that include: Metallica, Alice in Chains, The Misfits, Korn, and much much more! In 2009 the band announced plans to begin work on its third studio release. That same year, drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan passed away at the age of 28. In 2010 the band released Nightmare with replacement drummer Mike Portnoy in The Rev’s honor. During the song Buried Alive, M. Shadows (the lead singer of the band) always picks out a member to sing one song with the band. Below and behold, one had a sign saying “Can i sing Buried Alive.” and he let him. M. Shadows was picking on him to not mess him, but he sang every word perfectly. The crowd was quite impressed. After the song had finished, Avenge Sevenfold was encouraging the teenager from Green Bay to jump off the speaker into the crowd, he almost tripped off but he successfully made it and was crowd-surfed all the way to the back! Around eleven the band closed up with Unholy Confessions, but a few minutes after they had gone out, the crowd was chanting encore. A voice came over the speakers saying how they wouldn’t come back out; the crowd chanted louder. After basking in the crowds want, they officially ended with the encore song Beast and the Harlot.
So by the end of the night, every sweaty blood-pumping person migrated out of the Resch Center to either conversate with other fans or leave since it was around 11:20. It was an overall amazing night with no screw ups from any band and a smashing encore.
