The Milwaukee Bucks opened their season with an exhibition
game against the Minnesota Timberwolves where they lost 117-96. Former Badger
Jon Leuer led the Bucks with 18 points in his first NBA game. Recent signee
Mike Dunleavy also 16 points for Milwaukee.
The first quarter went well for both teams and the Bucks
were only down two to start the second quarter. But the Timberwolves stepped it
up in the second quarter and outscored the Bucks by six points to increase
their halftime lead to eight. The Bucks came out pretty weak in the second half
and ended up letting the Wolves build up an even larger lead and eventually
win.
The Bucks once again take on the Wolves Wednesday in
Milwaukee.
