Jenna Berkevich snoops over Quinn Kruel's shoulder while she is on the computer. Quinn isn't to happy about that. - Becky Lotz
A pet peeve is a minor annoyance that an individual identifies as particularly annoying to him or her, to a greater degree as others may find it. Pet peeves often involve specific behaviors of someone close, such as a spouse or significant other. These behaviors may involve disrespect, manners, personal hygiene, relationships, and family issues.
Some Pet Peeves people might have:
1. Someone standing over your shoulder reading the computer screen.
2. Noisy eaters.
3. Not washing hands after using the bathroom.
4. People who don't cover their mouth while sneezing or coughing.
5. People who don't pick up after themselves in a movie theater.
6. When somebody turns off the lights when you are still in the room.
7. People who spell "you're" as "your."
8. Slow people walking in front of you.
9. PeOpLe WhO tYpE LiKe ThIs.
10. When people talk/sing/ask questions during a movie.
Students of Horicon High School were asked about their pet peeves, and here is what they had to say:
Alexia Foley hates when people drag their feet in the hallway. "It's annoying," she says.
Katie Edelstein said her pet peeve is "When people don't brush their teeth at least two times a day, or have greasy hair. I mean, eww, grease, but it's not hard to brush at all."
Austin Hoefs doesn’t like getting question papers handed to him.
Evan Zimmerman and someone who prefers to be anonymous said they don't like, "When you can hear people's music through their head phones across the room."
An anonymous student said "When people chew their gum extremely loud. It's really annoying."
Everyone has at least one pet peeve.
