We all use cars everyday, whether for work, school, or free time. Some of us even use our cars too much! Every month, this reporter interviews one person from Horicon High School and asks them personal questions about their connection with their car. Last month, Kayla Ulrich and her sporty Pontiac Grand Am GT were interviewed. This month, junior Ben Dickenson was questioned about his classic Buick.
Year, Make, and Model of your car?
1986 Buick Riviera
Where did you get your car?
I bought it from my daddy’s old friend.
When did you get it?
Four years ago, before I got my license.
What do you like most about your car?
The interior. It’s pretty!
What do you like least about your car?
The rust, and it takes a while to start the engine
What is your craziest driving moment?
This one time, a police officer followed me from Slinger all the way to Horicon.
What are some changes you plan to make to your car in the future?
I’m gonna paint it dark red this weekend. It’ll look real cool!
Your car has been the target of harassment before. What do you have to say to the people who tease it?
I live by one rule: you insult my car, I crack your skull!
Despite Ben’s car’s appearance, he clearly shares a special bond with his car. If you mess his car, he’ll mess you up!
