Aaron Parsons: In the match up between the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles, the Falcons will exploit the weakened Eagles secondary and come out on top.
Patrick Byrd: The Eagles won’t give them a chance to do that because they are going to have pressure in the back field all night. The front defensive line is relentless and almost unstoppable.
Parsons: The Falcons have the X factor, however, in Michael Turner. He is in the top five in rushing and the Eagles’ run defense has never been above average. The Eagles don’t have that bruiser linebacker who can bring down Turner one-on-one.
Byrd: One-on-one, no, but with the effort of the entire defense, the X factor will be stopped in his tracks. The front line is not anything to underestimate and with Donavan McNabb leading the way, I don't give Atlanta much of a chance.
Parsons: McNabb is back to Pro Bowl form but the fact is that the Falcons are undefeated at home. They feel comfortable here and the defense steps up big at home. They have a young team that is always hot and cold. This will be their hot game.
Byrd: You can have the best player in the world but you don't know if they will have a good game or not, and against the Eagles they won’t. The Eagles have found ways to stop better teams and will totally control the hot and cold Falcons.
Parsons: I’m only saying that this will be the game where we see the same Falcons from the beginning of the year. Matt Ryan continues to improve, and Roddy White is finally catching hold.
Byrd: The Eagles have a winning record, and they are frantically trying to make the play-offs right now. They need this win and will stop at nothing to get it. They know this is crunch time for them, and they want to take advantage of it.
Parsons: This is more of a must-win game for the Falcons. The Eagles lead their division, but if the Falcons lose this one, they’re on the far outside looking in at best.
Byrd: I’m not trying to take anything away from Ryan, and I think he is a great quarterback for what he has done so far. The fact is McNabb is a legend, and that is what's going to put the Eagles on top, 28-14.
Parsons: The Falcons find some way to sneak out a victory at home, 24-21.
