Senior Wade Darnold: Future Farmers of America.
Clarion: What do you do in FFA?
Darnold: I’m a vegetable farmer. I also raise beef cattle and pigs. I am president and help the FFA. I’m in partnership in Darnold and Ward Hay Sales.
Clarion: What are some things you plan on doing this year?
Darnold: Try to make things more organized, run smoother and get more people involved.
Clarion: Why did you join?
Darnold: I joined because I am a farmer, and I do a lot with the agriculture. I want to make the most of my youth and enjoy what I like doing.
Clarion: What are the most recent things that FFA has done?
Darnold: Career development events and fundraisers.
Clarion: What are some things you are planning to do this year?
Darnold: Chapter trip to National Convention, donkey basketball, ham, bacon and egg sale, fruit sale and raffle drawings.
Clarion: What’s your favorite part of being in the organization?
Darnold: Being president.
Clarion: What are you looking forward to?
Darnold: National convention and many memories throughout the year.

Darnold: Nov. 5.
