As I look back on my last 3.75 years of school, I ponder all the choices I made and things I have done and thought I would share some experience with you all.

One more quarter of a school year and my high school days are done, and while it will be nice to move forward, there are many things that I will miss but also remember forever.

I have survived almost four years of Notre Dame and if you follow my advice, you can too.

One thing that I regret, however, is that I did not get as involved in the school as I should have.

Tennis sort of took over my life, and I never got the chance to do other things I like to do, such as basketball and cross country.

Even participating in at least a year of these sports would have made my Notre Dame Academy memories that much better.

That being said, I also am very happy I got so involved in tennis because all three of the tennis seasons thus far have been awesome, and I am looking forward to starting my last in a couple weeks.

That is one thing you should learn; get involved and have fun while you are here.

Also, do not get on the bad side of any teachers, especially the Spanish department.

I was pretty good at staying out of trouble in high school, and I have not had any problems with the teachers getting on my case, but I have witnessed many other students who have ,and trust me, it does not look fun.

Even though getting into trouble and talking to Mr. Masarik about it may look like a lot of fun, it really is not a good idea.

While it may be a step up from getting in trouble with the police and going to jail, it is a close contest I would say (sarcasm).

I know it is surprising but through my time at Notre Dame, I have never received a referral and have never had to visit Mr. Masarik’s office. It would be smart to follow my path.

Public school students may say that Notre Dame is stupid because it is too strict and not fun, but if you try hard enough you can make your time here a fun one like I have.
