French students attended a trip to Quebec, Canada to experience Quebec culture and apply their knowledge of speaking French.

      The group of 15 students from North Harford and 40 students from Patterson Mill and C. Milton Wright took a 13-hour trip by coach bus. They were there for 3 full days and 2 travel days.  They went dog sledding, cross country skiing, tubing, curling, and visited an ice hotel.

      “Quebec was taken over 7 different times between the British, French and Americans. We visited a big battlefield called the Plains of Abraham, which held a deciding battle between the French and the British,” said Junior and French 3 student, Scott Cullum.

     “Most people spoke English when they realized we were American, but we did get to speak a lot of French!” said Sophomore Caitlin Baker. She also stated, “It was very, very, very cold. It was windy and in the 20’s, which was warm for Quebec.”
