SAYING GOODBYE IS BITTERSWEET

There’s never a right time to say goodbye.

As a senior leaving Murrow there are crazy memories that are unforgettable. It is hard to say goodbye to four years of your life. I’ve made friends, and enemies. It is going to be really odd not seeing people that I normally would, in college.

Walking down each hallway knowing who you will see because they are always there, having new faces in the school every year that you soon get used to. High school is an experience that is unforgettable. Never rush your last year of high school.  Everyone always says that these are the best years of your life, and it is true. As a senior, everything is overwhelming. Graduation is around the corner and it is an amazing moment that I want to cherish.

If you hate this school or you love it, you will miss it. It will slap you so hard in the face when you know that you are about to leave high school.
All the conformability will be gone, and now you go from the head honcho of the school to a freshman all over again.

Coming into Murrow, I was very afraid because of all the people and I was coming from a very small junior high school.
After freshman year, I got used to things a typical Murrowite would get used to -- Optas, sitting on the floor, no bells, bands not periods.

From freshman to senior year, many things have changed in Murrow itself. Murrow has also changed many people. I know that Edward.R Murrow High school has changed me.
My final words would be for my friend Tyler Schultz who passed away earlier this year. It’s not the same without him and I just want to say that I miss him.
