Q&A with Mackenzie Morton, junior on the varsity dance team Q: How many years have you been on the dance team? This will be my second year. Q: How many people are new to the varsity dance team? Just Suzie Bigley. She’s our newbie. Q: How many seniors are on the team? We have five, so this year it’s actually less. Varsity is actually mainly juniors. Q: What are you doing over the summer to prepare for next year? I’m definitely going to practice a bunch, all styles of dance, especially my kicklines. As a team, we have two dance camps, a kid’s camp and NDA (National Dance Alliance) camp. We have a bunch of practices all in July to prepare for the school year.
