Rocklin ASB gives us a week of extended lunch to have spirit games for our class’s spirit total. They make the contestants look like fools when they do any of the games. These games included things such as egg tosses, the ping-pong game, balloon popping, 3 legged race, Thompson says, obstacle course line, and a lot more.

On Wednesday, there was a game in which students of each class had to fill their mouths with water and run to the other side of the amphitheater and spit the water into a cup until it fills. Daniel Opfer was playing for the sophomores in this game, coming out victorious.

“I just thought that the sophomores had to win one,” Opfer said. “It got my dress pants dirty, but it was worth it.”

And after Opfer’s victory, another came along with it. Trevor Cooper won the next game, in which he had to eat a pie and chocolate pudding without using his hands. After doing this, he had to chug a coke and retrieve the clue that was lodged inside of it. The clue revealed that he had to grab a bat, place it on the ground, spin around 10 times, and run to the middle of the amphitheater.

At the end of the Wednesday games, Mr. Thompson decided to end the games with a dance-off. The contestants had to dance the ‘Superman’ to Crank Dat Soulja Boy. Once again, Opfer decided to dance. Opfer made it into the top 15 in the dance-off, but got eliminated when the top 6 came around.
