Mid Penn Plunge is a success

This past Saturday many Big Spring swimmers participated in the annual Mid Penn Plunge, an alternative swim meet for those who do not qualify for the Mid Penn Championship.  This meet is held at Northern High School and 18 teams both AA and AAA from the Mid Penn area participated.

Big Spring swimmer Wade Reichelderfer made it to districts with his 200-meter swim at the Mid Penn Plunge and received a second place medal.  Swimmers Blair Lehman and Aubrey Reichelderfer also received medals as well as the 200-free relay of Sarah Baum, Kenssie Epley, Aubrey Reichelderfer and Arielle Lentini.  The boys relay of Logan Miko, David Dunkelburger, Brishen Dearborn, and Wade Reichelderfer also recieved a third place medal.

As a team both the boys and girls side from Big Spring placed 6 out of the 18 schools competing.
