“These last couple of years have been really fun,” said Thompson. “I can’t believe its coming to an end, I love to play tennis and my team.”

The doubles team of junior Dallas Guerro and senior Jack Chien were also eliminated in the first round of the tournament.

“Tennis was really fun this year,” said Chien. “I can’t believe the season is already over.”

The doubles team of seniors Monroe Chabrier and Zach House were able to use there abilities to make it through the first round, but were not able to advance any farther in the tournament after that.

Kevin Tran and Shaun Flynn also were able to get passed the first round of the tournament, but again got cut short in the second round.

“We got fourth in league which is okay, but still we didn’t make playoffs,” said head coach Donny Nush. “We’re losing at lot of seniors going into next season but we should still be able to compete with our competition.”
