As of last Tuesday, senior Kalei Levy has committed to playing softball for Webber International University.

     Levy was a starting catcher for Roseville High School, and was First Team All-League in the Sierra Foothill League her sophomore and junior years. Not only is Levy exceptional on the field but she has also been on the academic honor roll throughout her high school years. Levy is not the only Levy on the team, her older sister, Kiana Levy (a pitcher) also plays for the Webber Warriors.

     Levy will be a great addition to the softball team, where she will be helping the team by playing behind the plate as a catcher. Her batting average was .400 her sophomore and junior years at Roseville High. She also had 1.000 fielding percentage as a catcher her sophomore and junior years.

     “Now that I have my scholarship I’m more relaxed,” said Levy. “I am very excited that I got the scholarship, my sister also goes to Webber International so it’s kind of cool that I get to be her catcher again.”
