Members from the California Department of Education and general contractors came to visit Roseville High School’s newly constructed culinary and fashion classrooms. The guest came to get ideas for similar construction projects at their schools sites.

The representatives were from San Juan, Sacramento City, Twin Rivers, Merced Union, Elk Grove, Modesto, and Davis school districts. The program was funded under the Career Technology Education program.

To welcome the guests, the culinary class served triple ginger cookies along with homemade lavender ice cream and caramelized pears.

According to culinary teacher Angela Ash, the guests were impressed with the buildings inside layout.

“It’s exciting to be heading this program, and helping people join us,” said Ash.

The guests also stopped at Elk Grove and San Juan High Schools.
