The Roseville High School senior graduation will be held this Friday on the Hanson Field. The ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m.

“Graduation is a formal celebration of the successful conclusion of a student's high school career,” said counselor Michael Brockman.

Seniors will be given eight tickets to invite their family and friends. To receive more tickets, seniors need to speak with assistant principal Jon Coleman after the morning practice on graduation day. Morning practice starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 10 a.m.  Attending the practice is mandatory.

Principal Brad Basham, valedictorians Daniel Seo and Tong Wu, and salutatorians Brianna Liang and Divya Balakrishnan will be giving speeches during the event.

If a student did not pass the Roseville High School Joint Union District requirements, and did not pass the California Exit Exam, they will not graduate. These students will need to speak with their counselor to develop an alternate plan for graduating.

During graduation, there are dress requirements for seniors to obey in order to attend graduation. If students do not meet this requirement, they will not be able to walk the stage.

Senior Kim Cid anticipates starting a different part of her life.

“I’m very excited for graduation,” said Cid. “I’m excited to end this chapter of my life and go off to college.”

Senior Garret Kimler also cannot wait for life after high school.

“I can’t wait to graduate and start a new part of my life,” said Kibler.

RHS has partnered with Roseville Video Services to provide a DVD of this year’s graduation.  Students can reserve their copy by returning a filled out flyer with a check or cash to either Roseville Video Services or RHS. DVD copies are $25, and Blue Ray copies are $35.  DVDs are also available for pickup at Roseville Video Services Studio.
