After stuffing themselves with turkey and pumpkin pie, people dared to fight the crowds of Black Friday. Despite the financial crisis, people still participated in the bargain hunts at their local mall. Stores prepared to open early and offered door busters to entice customers. I arrived at Bel Ar Mall at seven in the morning. As usual on Black Friday, the parking lots were filled. I thought to myself, "Do I really want to do this?" To my surprise, I did not see as many people there as I thought I would. Sure, the lines were still long, but there was not a mass influx of people.

I visited stores throughout the mall. I was hoping for big sales and low prices, but I was slightly disappointed. Some stores had great deals, but others did not even have items on sale. Overall, I did not think the sales offered were that spectacular. However, despite the crowds, I still came away with some steals. I'm ready for next year's Black Friday so I can do it all over again!
