Taxis are horrifying death traps that want to eat your money straight from your pockets.

They are in big cities and most go extremely over the speed limit. Taxi drivers are dangerous and the men and women that drive them are scary.

Imagine standing on a street corner in New York City and a sea of yellow taxis passes by. You call out for a taxi because you are going to be late for work if you don’t catch one. No taxis stop so you are stuck walking to work. Taxi driver strike one.

If you would have caught one of the yellow taxis then you would be either stuck in traffic or trapped in a terrifying car crash-worthy situation.

Taxis are really dangerous because of the erratic way the men and women drivers cruise along the city streets. Of course, there are a select few drivers that are safe, but most of them are not.

Taxis cost too much money. To travel five miles it costs an upwards of $15. This is completely absurd. Taxis are definitely not worth that much money and therefore should not cost so much.

The cabs are normally unclean which is a problem to people afraid of germs.

People could just avoid riding in taxis but if there is no other way of transportation they have no other option. Taxi driver strike two.

People that drive taxis are terrifying, not only because of the way they drive but also because of the way they dress. Most drivers are totally unprofessional in what they wear. Jeans and an ugly T-shirt suffice for a taxi driver. To get more business drivers could wear nicer, more appealing outfits. Taxi driver strike three.

The drivers could also have a happier outlook on life. Taxi drivers are so quiet and awkward and should interact more with passengers to make them feel more comfortable in the vehicle.

There are other times where the taxi driver is a non-stop chatterbox. The driver speaks with passengers about his or her life, eminent downfall, awful job choice and even strange dreams. Who wants to know that much about a complete stranger? I think maybe a select few, but surely not many. Taxi drivers should make casual conversation, not awkward filler text. Obviously taxis are gruesome horror machines that no person should ever have to endure. If the taxi drivers were clean in appearance and driving habits then maybe people would want to scrounge up tons of change to pay them. Taxis are not worth taking a small step toward, you should run in the other direction. Rethink your choice if you ever merely consider about riding in a terror trap.
