Grafetti all over the girls locker room -

Because of the graffiti problem, most people would say Northwestern looks as if it is a prison. As students walk into Northwestern on their way to class they see "Go down the hill" or "R.I.P Pookie." As students use the restrooms there is graffiti written all over the bathroom doors and walls.

Should students really be subjected to this? "No," said a student leaving the restroom" I don't want to see somebody's name in my face as I enter the restroom, that's just unnecessary."

People would argue that it's the janitor’s job to clean up what is left after the students leave, "we only have one janitor, that is responsible for cleaning the entire building" states Ms. Kanter the principal of Northwestern. "But why should the janitors have to clean up after 16-17 year olds that write all over the walls of their school" explains Brandon Robinson, a former student at Northwestern.

The graffiti problem here at Northwestern is getting out of control, there is graffiti everywhere on the walls, ceiling, desks, chairs and it doesn't stop there. The people that choose to write all over the walls spell words wrong. For example an anonymous person that choose to put their address on a locker on the 3rd floor spelled "Park Hieghts" instead of Heights. Now what does that say about the students that write on the walls of the building? "Idiots, plain idiots," Scolded Ms. Jackson, a mother of a Northwestern student "Any student that has enough time to leave class just to write their address or their "clique" on the walls of a school has way too much time on their hands and should be confined to a chair." As for the growing graffiti problem Northwestern faces, Ms. Kanter states that it's hard to find the people that write on the walls, but she does have graffiti remover and cans of paint. "Maybe the students can sponsor a School Wide Clean Up"s tates Mr. Johnson another parent.
